Systems Biology, Transcriptomics
Lecture, Vilnius University, 2026
A series of two lectures for systems biology MSc students about genomic epidemiology as part of their transcriptomics course in 2026. The first lecture covers the basics of genomic epidemiology - what is it, how does it work and what sorts of questions can we ask? The second lecture concerns the statistical modelling of molecular evolution using continuous time Markov chains in maximum likelihood and Bayesian settings.
